About Club Joy

A note from our front porch

We built this for the woman who keeps catching herself thinking "there has to be more than this" — and is quietly, gently, ready to find out what.

Why Club Joy, why now

Club Joy started with a question Katie kept hearing — from her email list of 100,000 women, from her friends, from herself: "What if joy was something I could choose on purpose, instead of waiting for it to show up?"

We tried answering it the way the internet usually does — with another course, another challenge, another shiny morning routine. But the women asking the question didn't need a louder cheerleader. They needed somewhere to actually go. Somewhere kind. Somewhere honest. A place that didn't want to fix them, monetize them, or sell them a personality.

So we built a neighborhood instead.

Club Joy is a place to choose joy on purpose. To experiment. To build connection. To explore identity. To create personal curriculums. It's a Skool community, run by three women who don't pretend life is straightforward — because none of ours have been.

We open the doors in June 2026. Membership is $19/month. The only homework is to be open to the possibility.

What Club Joy is and isn't

Club Joy is

  • A place to choose joy on purpose
  • A place to build connection
  • A place to explore identity
  • A place to create personal curriculums
  • A place to experiment

It is not

  • A course platform
  • A self-help program
  • A motivational hype space
  • A productivity grind club
  • A place that tells you how to feel
Brand voice

Warm. Encouraging. Grounded. Human.

We sound like a thoughtful friend — not a coach, not a guru, not a cheerleader yelling from the sidelines.

1

Warm & Inviting

Uses "friend," "you," gentle language. Feels handwritten, not mass-produced.

2

Grounded & Honest

Acknowledges life is messy. Never pretends everything is perfect.

3

Encouraging, Not Pushy

No commands, no hustle language. Invitations instead of instructions.

4

Joyful, Not Loud

Joy is calm, steady, reassuring. Not hype, not glitter-bomb optimism.

5

Inclusive & Gentle

Speaks to many seasons of life. Leaves room for different experiences.

The women behind it

Built by three women, for many

None of us showed up in a straight line. That's exactly why this works.

K

Katie

Joy seeker, entrepreneur, and stage-three breast cancer thriver. Katie built her last business — a national Sunday Coupon Inserts operation — around what brought her alive. She's done it again here.

She believes joy takes intention, that women need spaces designed for them, and that the best businesses come from passion projects you can't put down.

"Building spaces for women to connect, explore, and grow brings me the most joy."

J

Jess

Mom to five, singer-songwriter, married her high-school sweetheart, loves penguins (the bird, but also the metaphor — they mate for life and shuffle through cold seasons together).

Lives with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and is fascinated by AI. Brings the systems thinking that lets the neighborhood actually work.

"I find joy in creating and learning — both, always."

Neighborhood guidelines

Five gentle agreements

These keep Club Joy feeling like the kind of place you actually want to spend time.

1

Lead with kindness

Every person here is navigating their own season. Speak with care.

2

Listen more than you advise

Sometimes the best support is simply being present.

3

Honor different paths

Joy looks different for everyone — and that's the design, not a bug.

4

Share, don't sell

This is a space for connection, not self-promotion.

5

Protect the space

What's shared here stays here. Respect privacy and stories.

You don't have to
be joyful to be here.

You just have to be open to the possibility. We'll meet you there.
